Glad things are going well and also very happy even though we had mid 80's temps, we didn't get B.C. or Alberta's heat wave either.
Take care, stay well!Patsy Irene (Chillin' with Patsy)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17023685247825134744noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5098840169301919183.post-91496565648698169132021-07-04T17:48:12.084-06:002021-07-04T17:48:12.084-06:00Sounds like a good week to take it easy.Sounds like a good week to take it easy. The Furry Gnomehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02485265576983125216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5098840169301919183.post-72442552449654263162021-07-04T07:09:20.977-06:002021-07-04T07:09:20.977-06:00While it has been hotter than normal for us, the h...While it has been hotter than normal for us, the humidity has been low. On the whole, normal compared to other parts of North America. I would hate being a weather forecaster these days the only reaction has got to be "Are you kidding me???" I have to giggle, our son is coming for a visit from Alberta. They have cooled off slightly, and now he will be back into what he calls Melting Temperatures. Still it will be lovely to see him for a week now and then a few days at the beginning of September when we head to the mountains.

So sorry the baby crow didn't make it.

God bless.Jackiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16051183778965359500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5098840169301919183.post-45625333989352319402021-07-03T17:17:44.824-06:002021-07-03T17:17:44.824-06:00Aww, so sorry the baby crow didn't make it. As is often the case after a stretch of high heat we had the mother of all thunder, lightening, rain and hail storms last night. The really intense part lasted about half an hour. My bone dry water barrel was full at the end of the half hour. I spent a good hour cleaning up the mess this morning. Hanging baskets and pots just trashed. I have a peony that is like it's on steroids every year. I had counted 114 buds. About 75% of them had flowered. This morning I'm left with 2 flowers and about 5 buds. So disappointing although I shouldn't be surprised because we seem to get a storm every year right after they have all flowered. I hope you don't get a storm as bad as we got. It's really nice today, only 25C.Janicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10866037113557348210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5098840169301919183.post-53404161872087568832021-07-03T14:32:19.591-06:002021-07-03T14:32:19.591-06:00It has been very hot here, up to 40 degree Celsius...It has been very hot here, up to 40 degree Celsius, and blazingly sunny.
