That doesn't make it less bothersome. But, as you wrote, at least there isn't the flooding B.C. is getting. They're famous for their rain in parts of the province, but no one wants them to have what they're having. Weather seems to be getting more extreme everywhere.John Bellenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10946140614088069665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5098840169301919183.post-52436725343377169652021-11-19T21:21:55.439-06:002021-11-19T21:21:55.439-06:00I get shivers looking at your pictures and it make...I get shivers looking at your pictures and it makes me so grateful for where I am. As you say though, even in that weather and those conditions, we are so much more fortunate than the people and animals affected in B.C. :(Patsy Irene (Chillin' with Patsy)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17023685247825134744noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5098840169301919183.post-77110377385698239242021-11-19T19:39:21.189-06:002021-11-19T19:39:21.189-06:00And here in Estevan we just got a skiff, which is ...And here in Estevan we just got a skiff, which is almost gone now. Instead of snow we got wind gusts of almost 110 km an hour. Talked to Kris and he said that he left work at noon the day of the storm, with his computer and worked at home the rest of that day and the next. His hip is bothering him a bit but either he is getting used to the pain or it is lessening.

Enjoy your trip.

God bless.Jackiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16051183778965359500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5098840169301919183.post-61005088500921320792021-11-19T18:57:19.949-06:002021-11-19T18:57:19.949-06:00I sure feel for those who have been hammered in BC...I sure feel for those who have been hammered in BC but didn't know you were having high winds also. Mercy. Weather is not our friend these days. The trip out sounds fun after the year of staying put. Glad precautions are being taken. Do take care and stay safe. Somerset, UK maybe. In my dreams... 🙂

I did my indoor decorating last weekend and have my simple strand of outdoor lights on too. Early, but so what? 🎄

Your weekend trip sounds amazing, I hope you have a fantastic time!

As for the devastation in parts of BC, I can't even wrap my brain around the images and reports I've seen. The province has been hit so hard this year.

Take care, have fun and stay safe!

Keahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06809655107065918944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5098840169301919183.post-90132493097246517332021-11-19T14:08:31.444-06:002021-11-19T14:08:31.444-06:00We had snow and wind here too!
