Truth. Now for a fact: the expiration date on most products is NOT the day the product is bad, but it's the last day the business can sell that product. The product will still be fine for awhile after that "expiration" date.
Ackkk! Even though I know expiration dates aren't hard dates, I still won't consume something after they've passed. A hold over from my childhood, I think, and all the sour milk the town's one grocery store sold. 🤢

The best before date indicates the date beyond which freshness and taste deteriorate. It does not indicate that the food is unfit to eat.
