Is anyone else seeing an inordinate amount of page views? Normally, I have about 100 views and average of six to eight comments. The comment numbers haven't changed but the last view posts have close to 1000 views. When I opened blogger this morning, I saw yesterday's post had about 350 views, and within minutes that number was up to over 400.
I know my blog isn't that popular, so I'm assuming a lot of the traffic is due to bot activity. Just curious, is anyone else seeing similar numbers?
My views have been remaining steady with my averages, although in years past I have had unusual spikes.
ReplyDeleteGood catch Maebeme, I just looked and my last 2 posts got 377 and 544 visits respectively. I usually average a lot less than that!

ReplyDeleteI noticed it this morning as well. Crazy influx of views. I have been having newer commenters lately - but I think a lot of it is bot stuff.
ReplyDeleteAlso go and look - they went back pretty far with the views. Mine have changed on posts as far back as a couple months! That is just nuts.
