Cripes. I've heard about the Arctic flow in the more westerly provinces. I expect we'll get it, or some Arctic air flow, soon enough, we always do! Take care and stay nice and cosy.
I have been watching the CBC reports on the weather out west - just bitter! So glad you are able to stay indoors and safe. Please don't send it our way! :-)
We have the exact opposite here. It is 77, humid and feels like storms. Im glad I don't have to leave the house just because I don't want to go anywhere
Kris headed back up to the city today. He said the highways were good, but he had to dig out his parking space. That is when he twisted his hip.... Hope he didn't do too much damage.
Like you I am glad that there was no place I needed to be.
It's been so cold here, temps similar to yours for over a week. We hadn't been out of the house for over a week. Thank goodness for great neighbours who shovel the snow for us. We finally went out today to do some banking and pick up a few groceries. We are supposed to get 2 days reprieve on the weekend when it will be in the single digit minuses but then right back down to the -30s again!
I wanted to wish you and Saku, and your children and grandson, the best possible new year in 2022. It will never be as good as we want it to be, but if it’s half as good as I wish, it’ll be pretty good, after all! God bless you all.
Just visiting your blog :) Oh my! That is cold! Reminds me of our days living in Billings, Montana. I'll take the Phoenix summer heat over those temps any day! Happy New Year!
Same weather here and getting colder by the weekend:(

ReplyDeleteThat is way too cold. When you get into negatives, you lose me.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and safe.
