It has arrived

The forecast was for less than 5 cm (about 2 inches).  They lied, it's still coming down.  I'll be out shovelling this afternoon.

  1. Agggghhh! It does look lovely, though, soft and fluffy. I do like the first snowfall of the year, for pictures, and then that's it, I'm done! :-P

  2. Oh noooooooo. It sure is pretty - but this old girl isn't ready for that.
Hope you don't mind it. Guess it doesn't care - right? LOL

  4. No snow here; the chinook took care of that. But, though it's going to be in the low teens this weekend, it won't be for long after that.

  5. Oh wow! And to think we have just had leaves beginning to fall. I have never had to shovel snow in my life!

  6. It is getting much worse here as well. In the middle of the afternoon the visibility went good-bye. Harvey says the roads are icy as well as he was surprised to find. Hopefully things improve tomorrow (though we are staying below freezing) and I will feel safe shopping.... I could be dragging Harvey along to drive.

    God bless.

  7. We got a tiny skiff this morning and it's very windy. We are supposed to get more snow on Monday.
