Wow. You grow 'em big, there! I have never seen a rabbit or hare roll. I've seen horses, cows, dogs, cats, etc., but never a rabbit/hare. Great capture, what fun to see!
I think it's something about the dirt. Several years ago we had a tree taken out in our front lawn. We scattered grass seed and hoped for the best. Several times a day the bunnies would come, have a little snack on the seeds and then roll around in the dirt, just like a dog, and then have a little snooze! Needless to say, we had to buy sod because the seed didn't stand a chance of growing!!
