Woke to about 5 inches of snow this morning on top of the inch we had the night before. This is what it looks like now after a half hour of shovelling.
Oh, YUCK!!!! You have my sympathies! The last few years here have seen a late and very cold start to spring, but this year -- SO FAR -- we've lucked out. I hope the snow is all gone for you this week!
BTW, I love the 11 seasons, I have to save that. LOL.
I can certainly relate to "mud season"!! So many Canadians did not make their winter journey to Florida this year and my heart aches for them. I actually thought I would stay in Vermont this winter, but that thought did not last past the first snow storm. I am clearly not a winter person. I would actually like to be, (I enjoy that first snow fall) but I am not. Before I had ever even been to Florida, my Aunt Jule used to say that I was a clearly a tropics person.
Yep, only in Saskatchewan can you sometimes get all four seasons in one or two days.
Harvey was out using the snow blower today as there is just too much and it is too heavy to shovel. Hopefully for both of us this will not stick around too long.
Oh ick!! I'm so sorry for your loss of Spring. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteOh my word - I think I would be saying bad words!!!!!!! YUCK

Wow, three is too many. Smiled at your 11 seasons, probably because we don't have but a couple of those.

God bless.
Oh yuck! And I suppose you are sending it to Ontario now?
ReplyDeleteI will try not to mention I am wearing shorts and flip flops right now
ReplyDeleteYes, the joys of Canada, EH? I think you nailed the seasons though. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is tough to face snow at this time of year, isn't it? We have it too.
ReplyDeleteYikes! We didn't get even a bit of that, as chilly as the nights have been...
